Bizzy Girls was created in 2013 by Deborah Kanafani to celebrate and empower tweens and teens. Our programs, products and books are designed to help girls build self-confidence, develop creativity, teach financial literacy, leadership and social emotional intelligence.
Bizzy Girls Academy
Bizzy Girls Academy teaches entrepreneur and empowerment programs that start as young as age six, and go through age sixteen. The core of our proprietary curriculum is based on social emotional learning in an entrepreneurial environment. Girls create their own product lines, learn business skills, decision making, goal setting, writing mini business plans and sell their products. They also learn how to research social issues, develop and implement solutions. We recently completed our 150th camp and have helped several thousand girls start their first business.
BIZZYGIRLS Marketplace
The only marketplace designed for young entrepreneurs.
Our new online community allows girls to have their own web page so they can sell their products to family and friends while learning to run their own ecommerce business. It also has biz tips and interviews with female entrepreneurs.

After reading many studies showing that girls self esteem starts to decline at age 12, she responded by creating a book series for young girls Kate Kate and The Bizzy Girls and programs followed..Deborah has a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Adelphi University, NY.
She attended The New School for Social Research and The Albert Ellis Institute of Rational Emotive Therapy focusing on cognitive transformation and leadership training. Deborah was the former Executive Director of Women in Film and Video.
